Fewer meetings. Better meetings.
An agenda with timeboxes, notes everyone writes together, and action items that simply become cards. The stand-up happens in text, the retro anonymously, and nobody retypes anything afterwards.
From agenda to card.
- Put it on the agenda: Everyone adds items, with a timebox and who brings it.
- Meet live: One person drives, the rest follow along. An item that runs over gets parked for next time.
- Wrap up: Decisions and action items are recorded, the action items are cards, and the summary goes out by email or to Discord.
What comes with meetings.
- Recurring series. One series per recurring meeting. What wasn’t discussed carries over to next time.
- Attendance. Attendees say whether they’re coming, and afterwards you see who was there.
- Decisions you can find again. Searchable per series, with the agenda item next to them.
- In Discord. Reminders, an event on your server and the summary in a channel.
- Stand-ups without the meeting. A reminder at the hour you choose, then a summary in the team chat. A blocker becomes a card in one click.
- Retros. First everyone writes on their own, then you group and vote, then discuss. Actions become cards.
- Anonymous when it matters. In an anonymous retro, nothing shows who wrote which note.
- Weekly overview. What happened on the project, every week in the team chat, Discord, Slack, Teams or your inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Does devbord replace Zoom or Discord?
No. You talk wherever you do today. devbord keeps the agenda, the notes, the decisions and the action items.
What if someone forgets the stand-up?
Everyone gets a reminder at the chosen hour, and the board shows who hasn’t checked in yet.
Do action items really become cards?
Yes, ordinary cards on the project, with an owner and a due date. So they don’t vanish into a notes file.
Which plan includes this?
Meetings are in every plan. Stand-ups and retros are part of Premium.
